Description of Research
The Passalacqua lab (a.k.a. the Laboratory of Nucleic Acids) is focused on the discovery and structural characterization of functional nucleic acids (RNA, DNA, and modified nucleic acids) using a combination of bioinformatic, biochemical, biophysical, and structural biology methods. We are particularly interested in determining structure-function relationships of RNAs and DNAs in biology. Current topics of study include:
