See What's Happening in the Field

Microbiology is a field that moves quickly. New discoveries, emerging technologies and evolving research questions shape how scientists work and what they study.

Seminars and events provide a direct way to stay connected to that progress.

The department hosts regular seminars, guest lectures and webinars featuring researchers, faculty and industry professionals. These events offer insight into current research, career pathways and the broader scientific landscape.

Prospective students are encouraged to attend. It is one of the best ways to see how the field is evolving and how you might fit into it.

UF MCS Faculty & Guest Lecturer Seminars are presented in the Cancer & Genetics Research Auditorium - Room 101 on Mondays at 4PM - https://campusmap.ufl.edu/#/index/1376

Student/Postdoc Seminars are presented exclusively via Zoom

Recordings of past seminars are available here. Note: you must have a UF account to view.
