Turn Scientific Curiosity Into Academic and Career Growth

Undergraduate programs introduce students to the biological systems that influence human health, agriculture and environmental stability.

Students study microbial genetics, cell biology and molecular biology while gaining laboratory experience that prepares them for careers in science or advanced graduate study.

On-campus microbiology majors can enroll through either the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS) or the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS), while the online microbiology major is offered exclusively through CALS.

To explore program requirements, curriculum and admissions information, you will be redirected to official university pages managed by those colleges.
