Dr. Gadsby is passionate about sharing her experiences through creating a recent UF undergraduate/graduate course offering in Innovation Project Management and reinvigorating a Microbiology Careers course.

Experience
Dr. Elizabeth Gadsby’s career spans Fortune 500 and biotech start-up leadership roles in new product commercialization, operations, logistics, marketing, quality, and technology development. Dr. Gadsby has led the successful discovery and commercialization of medical and consumer products as an inventor on over forty patents. She founded eGad Innovation, LLC, providing C-suite consultation on biotech entrepreneurial ventures in the wearable digital health space and worked on emerging technologies of national importance through support from DARPA and NIH. She also has guided efforts for business sustainability, antimicrobial and protein treatments, material assessments, clinical studies, and artificial intelligence.

Personal Interests
Dr. Elizabeth Gadsby and her husband, James Gadsby, met as students at the University of Florida. https://www.uff.ufl.edu/gators/talented-mr-mrs-gadsby/ and are grateful to have returned to their alma mater and opportunities to watch this generation of UF leaders grow and serve. They are active members of the UF Alumni Association and UF Foundation National Board.
She also serves as the President of Gainesville Thrives, a children’s literacy nonprofit. James and Elizabeth are active members of Greenhouse Church and Young Life mentors, as well as supporters of Desire Street Ministries and Fellowship of Performing Arts.
