Combined Degree Program
Sample Schedule
4/1 Plan
Students planning to enter the combined degree program are encouraged to take the CHM 3217,CHM 3218, CHM 2211L series to accelerate completion of the organic chemistry and biochemistry requirements.
Students are also strongly encouraged to take Physical Chemistry ,either CHM 3400 or CHM 4411, as a general course elective during their B.S. program since this course provides important conceptual background for Advanced Physical Biochemistry (BCH 6740); a required course for the M.S. degree. This background will be considered as a strong credential for admission to the limited positions available in the 4/1 program.
This sample schedule is an example of one way that the course work may be taken to successfully complete this program. Please see an academic advisor if it is necessary for you to adjust it to meet your individual academic plan.
